Position Overview

As a Finance Associate, you will play a critical role in advising global financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and private equity firms on syndicated lending transactions ranging from $50 million to $3 billion. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, including healthcare, energy, defense and aerospace, food and beverage, and financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate finance agreements and related documentation for complex financial transactions
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions tailored to clients' needs
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives to support the firm's growth
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on structuring and executing syndicated lending transactions

Requirements

  • Qualified attorney in the state where the role is posted
  • Proven experience in finance law, with a focus on leveraged finance
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and practices related to finance transactions
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the firm's success
