How are we different?

We operate differently. We put our candidates first. This means candidates only choose to go to a firm that suits all of their requirements (even when they don't know what those are exactly!).

It works because law firms get lawyers that have found their home! Rather than pushing firms that don't match them, leading to a departure within 1-2 years, our lawyers stay for much longer, meaning happier employees and less recruitment fees!

Who are our candidates?

Associates
Associates choose us because we prioritise their long-term goals. We understand sometimes it seems like it's 'just about the money', but we encourage our candidates to go deeper than that. Often it's because they have felt undervalued, and we help them find a firm that values them (and compensates generously, if that's what they are looking for).

Counsel
Sometimes, you don't want to make Partner. In fact, the end goal may be to go in-house. We help Counsels find a firm that will either be their forever home or assist them in finding those coveted in-house positions.

Other times, it's about finding a place you can build a client base and therefore become a Partner. We can assist with finding a supportive culture which will help develop you into the best Partner you can be.

Partners
Service Partners usually like to go where they will be busy (and therefore secure). We understand that it has to be the right fit, the right type of work with the right culture and pay packet. We always prioritise your needs and we have had great success with Service Partners in the past.

Rainmakers have to prioritise their clients. We understand the motivations behind this and we also get that sometimes your current firm no longer suits you and your clients. As experts in the field with a long history of success representing Rainmakers, we put our intricate understanding of each element of the legal fields to helping you find the best fit for you and your clients.
